Good Old Fashion Christmas Cookies Recipe
This is just a good old fashion Christmas cookie recipe. You can use the little cut outs and decorate them to different little shapes like stars, Christmas stocking, Rudolph, Santa and Christmas trees. Put on sprinkles or icing for decoration. Put them in a basket or a tin and give them out as a gift. Tie a bow around your tin or stick one on. These two photos can give you ideas of how you can dress up your cookies even more.

Man it's cold!!! It's 29 degrees where I am and the wind chill is 20! Well for me the first thing I want is soup, tea or oatmeal!
Today I want to share with you this Indian Tomato Soup recipe by Vahchef. This is not a plain tomato soup it has all of the good extra spices that the body needs to be healty when it's cold. (Except the salt)

Chocolate Pecan Pie Recipe
Now that we know that dark chocolate is good for you. I would suggest dark chocolate for this pecan pie recipe.
4 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of dark corn syrup
3 squares of unsweetened chocolate
2 cups of pecan halves
1 pie shell
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
2. Add the eggs, sugar and dark corn syrup to a mixer bowl.
3. Attached with a flat beater, turn to speed 6 for 1 minute then stop and scrape the bowl.
4. Reduce the speed to 4.
5. Gradually add melted, unsweetened chocolate and beat for 1 minute until well blended.
6. Reduce the speed to stir and add pecan halves.
7. Now pour the mixture into an unbaked pie pastry shell in an ungreased pie plate.
8. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until slightly soft in the center.
